There are some of you out there who still feel that you just can’t enjoy an ice cream cake unless it revolves around some birthday or other celebratory occasion. If you are one of those who suffers under this self-imposed denial of ice cream cake, I’m here to help with more arbitrary celebrations.
Did you forget to wear green on St. Patrick’s Day, yet avoided being pinched by anyone? Celebrate your luck of the Irish with a delicious ice cream cake. If you did wear green, you are obviously a person who honors other societies and their customs. Reward your cultural sensitivity with an ice cream cake.
This Tuesday, March 22nd, goof off at work. If this draws the ire of your boss, just remind him it is National Goof Off Day and you’re celebrating it, not by choice, but in respect. When you get home that night, celebrate not accomplishing a single solitary task that day with a nice ice cream cake.
Has your area of the country enjoyed a nice bump in temperature? Get out that ice cream cake and dig in. If the temperature outside is still a bit chilly, chow down on an ice cream cake as you celebrate another week of not having to mow the grass.
On March 26, it’s Make Your Own Holiday Day. It’s almost like you’re meant to get an ice cream cake on that day.
As you can see, there’s something to celebrate every day. No longer do you need to limit your enjoyment of the world’s best treat to the occasional occasion.
